Do you really need an i7 for a glorified web browser? If it could run some linux applications maybe, but all it can run is google chrome + a few android apps. You need a lot of ram because chrome has memory leaks out the wazoo, but wtf do you need an i7 in a chromebook for?

I like how people say apple is over priced but google is charging 1000 dollars for something that can literally only run google chrome.

This is honestly pretty good, people need to remember that Chromebooks for the most part are used in schools and colleges where multiple users share the same laptop and can take and use them both in and out of school. A well built PC is far Superior than this no one can deny that but the average person doesn't need a fully fledged PC or even a gaming laptop with a built-in graphics card. Your Average individual person uses their laptop to surf the web, stream TV shows and movies, and occasionally type something up, this hits all those points and more.

Depending on how much it'll cost, I might just get it and install windows on it.
